About Me
Hi My name is Helen Llewellyn I am a Ofsted registered child minder. I offer a home away from home for your child to come to. I use the local area, where I do lots of activities. We go to playgroups, soft play, park, trips to the museums and seaside.I have very good references and have 9 years experience in the childcare sector 5 of which my role has been deputy manager of a nursery.
I have two children and my eldest is 20 and lives away from home my youngest is 5 years old and is in full time school.
I live with my husband who is a police officer in Acklam Middlesbrough close to Acklam Whin, Kader and St claires schools. We live in a 3 bedroom house with a large garden which is secure and well equipped for children. I also have private parking facilities outside the front of my house for drop off's and pick ups only.
My Experience
Aside from having 20 years' experience as a mum, I have worked for (9 years in a nursery 5 of which i have been deputy manger, looking after children from Six weeks onwards.
My Qualifications
I regularly undertake new training courses to ensure that I am up to date on all childcare procedures at all times.
I completed my NVQ Level 3, 4
I am OFSTED Registered

My setting is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5.30pm.
I am even Open for School Holidays & Bank Holidays too if the parent needs this,
I offer Flexible shift pattern cover where possible.
I offer Full Time/ Part Time Care, Holiday care, Emergency Cover Care.
My setting is fully inclusive to all. All children and parents are welcomed, respected and valued as individuals.
I cater for special Dietary Requirements, as well as Religious and Cultural Needs.
I comply with the Welfare Requirements, and follow procedures on a daily basis to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in my care.

Helen has been looking after my toddler son for over a year. She provides a stimulating and caring environment in which he had thrived. She has helped him to settle well, and has supported us when he was potty training. She provides exciting activities which have included his own interests as well regular trips out to toddler groups, soft play, museums and the farm.
I would not hesitate to recommend Helen as a childminder, I feel confident my son is being well looked after and he enjoys the time he spends with her.
