About Me
Hi, my name is Carly and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. Graded 'Good' at my latest inspection. I have been childminding since 2014.
I live close to Clare House Primary school in Overbury Avenue, Beckenham. I live with my husband and 2 children.
I made the decision to become a childminder after the arrival of my youngest child, I wanted to have a better work/home life balance and with no family living locally childcare was a bit of a headache. It was the best decision I ever made and I have never looked back, I honestly feel I have the best job, no two days are the same and it is so rewarding to see how the children in my care develop and grow.
My home is a safe, fun and educational environment for children to enjoy learning through play. Everyday is different with lots of activities and outings planned.
I am a big fan of messy play so this always features in our day to day life, children learn so much when they are fully engaged in an activity.
I would describe myself as a warm and caring person who is calm and easy to talk to, I relate well to children and enjoy every aspect of childcare. I am reliable and trustworthy with excellent reference available on request.

My Experience
I have been working as a childminder for 8 years. I work with a number of families who have always been extremely happy with the care I provide for their little ones. I have provided childcare for children aged from 0-12 years.
Being a parent myself I understand the demands placed on working parents, I am considerate to both the children I care for and their families.
My Qualifications
Level 3 CACHE - Understand how to set up a home based childcare service
Enhanced DBS (previously known as CRB) certificate
Paediatric First Aid certificate
Public liability insurance
Planning, observing and tracking children's progress training certificate
Safeguarding: Child protection training
My training is ongoing to ensure my knowledge and the service I provide is up to date.
My Availability
My working hours are 8am-6pm
