About Me
Hi, my name is Lucy, I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live with my Husband and three lovely children ages 14, 13, and 10 years old. I am a qualified nursery nurse with an NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education. I have 8 years childcare experience working in a prep school nursery as a nursery nurse.
I live in Greenford very close to local parks and library. I do a variety of activities with the children in my care, including trips to toddlers groups, the local parks, libraries and children centres and farms. I plan daily activities to meet the needs and interests of each individual child in my care, extending on their learning and development. I offer a happy and secure environment for children to develop and grow, with lots of fun and stimulating activities. I also have a large secure garden with a variety of outdoor toys for children to explore and learn about the world around them. I am a very loving, calm, patient and caring person who adores looking after children.

My Experience
I have worked as a nursery nurse for 7 years in a prep school nursery with extensive knowledge of the EYFS.
I work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage and activities are planned around the childrens interests and adapted to suit the needs and abilities of the individual children that I care for.

Lucy has been looking after our son since he was 18months until he turned 3 years old when he started preschool. She has been absolutely wonderful! She has a lovely gently energy. She is caring, creative and nurturing. Her home setting is really nice, always tidy and clean and she has a big garden where the children can play. She takes them regularly to playgroups where the kids have the opportunity to socialise with a bigger group and the rest of the time my son really enjoyed getting lots of attention sharing the care with one or 2 other children only. I highly recommend Lucy! Our son will most definitely miss her.

Lucy was our childminder from Sept 2014 until May 2015. She looked after our son who was 9months old when I went back to work.
Lucy had a lovely manner with our son and her own children. She was kind and patient and our son was always happy in her care. Also, Lucy's own children seem happy and well behaved and they always played with our son and included him.
Lucy has a wide variety of toys and we really noticed how well our son progressed in her care. Lucy kept us up to date on his development as well as keeping a daily diary for our information.
While he was always pleased to see me at the end of the day he was never desperate to go home and always arrived at Lucy's home with a smile.
We have no hesitation in recommending Lucy as a childminder and thank her for caring for our son so well.

Lucy has been an absolutely fantastic childminder for our daughter ever since I started back at work. She is loving and caring and has been nothing but outstanding and we are so upset that due to unforeseen circumstances we are having to move out of London and unfortunately are no longer able to use her. Working with Lucy has been effortless; she does not only look after our daughter each day but spends an enormous amount of time on learning and developing, helping her grow through extensive activities. Every week our daughter has been able to interact with other children and go on trips to parks, libraries, soft play centres, and farms letting her experience so many environments to help her learn and grow. Lucy is incredibly up to date with all her paperwork and we love to read all about what our daughter has done during the day and see photos of her enjoying herself. It really makes us feel involved and happy to know our daughter is having a wonderful time.
Lucy is flexible, accommodating and such a wonderful person to know, she made us feel such at ease when we began our childcare with her especially as it was a new experience for us with our first baby. Our daughter gets so excited when we drop her off in the mornings and that makes us feel so happy that she is so comfortable there.
She has such patience and reliability that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
We are so sorry to be leaving and we want to thank you for everything you have done for us. We will miss you so much!
