My Experience

Most recent experience is as follows:

Currently working in a pre-school 4 days per week in Chesterfield.

Part time nanny in NW7, London, taking my own son with me to look after a little girl who was 9 months old at the beginning of the job.


Past experience:
Full time nanny July 2017-August 2021, NW3.
Position began in July 2017, at time the baby was just six months old. I was responsible for all of her nursery duties (cooking, laundry etc) as well as setting termly class schedules based on her interests and stages of development, creating and maintaining her social life through playdates and fostering her English language skills which wasn’t her mother tongue.
I helped prep her for the 4+ assessment to get in to a private primary school which she passed and the job only ended due to my maternity leave starting.


Live out nanny/PA in NW3. February 2016-July 2017
Two girls aged 6 months old and three years old at the beginning of employment.
I was responsible for all grocery shopping and running errands for the whole household alongside the usual nanny duties associated with two young children.


Live out nanny in NW3/Washington DC. May 2014-December 2015
A Kosher, Jewish family with two children aged 7 months old and almost 3 years old at the beginning of employment. Normal nursery duties as well as cooking and maintaining Kosher standards within the household.
In the summer of 2015 the family relocated to Washington DC, I moved with them for six months to help settle the children in and make the transition as smooth as possible.


Live-In nanny NW8. December 2012 - May 2014
Three children aged 10 weeks, 14 months and 4.5 years old at the beginning of employment.
My first full-time nanny position, a strict Kosher, Jewish family. Duties included maintaining sleep routines for the baby, weaning, homework help, organising playdates and activities.


Kindergarten teacher Helsinki, Finland. August 2009 - July 2012
28 children aged 4-5 years old.
I taught the British Key Stage 1 curriculum in a prep-school for the International school of Helsinki.


Au-pair Helsinki, Finland. August 2008 - July 2009
I was a live-in au-pair for a busy family of five children, aged 9, 7, 5,3 and 1 at the beginning of employment. Duties included a small amount of cooking and daily nursery and school drop offs/pick ups, homework help and teaching the children English.

My Qualifications

I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years childcare and education which I obtained in July 2008 with the grades Distinction, Distinction, Distinction.

I'm fully DBS checked and have a valid Paediatric first aid certificate.

My Availability

I am available for evening and weekend babysitting.
