About Me
I have worked with preschool children my whole career and could not imagine myself doing anything else.
I am quite relaxed and calm with a nurturing nature, it's lovely to see my charges achieving their next steps.
I am qualified with NNEB, experienced from newborn to age 14 and I have a teenage son.
I have lots of activity ideas to occupy all ages. I enjoy being outside exploring the world around us with children i.e. forests, parks, toddler groups, library but am equally happy staying in with playdo, reading and den building etc. I can even juggle nursery duties and cooking too.
It is important to me that the children in my care are happy and content so that their parents can get on with their jobs.
My Experience
I have worked with pre school children for over 30years in a mixture of Nannying and Childcare establishments, as a Nursery Nurse.
I have looked after children from newborn up to 14 year olds, including twins and larger families but my passion is babies and toddlers.
I am a mum to a 14 year old boy so understand the joys and challenges of parenting.
I am confident with weaning and toilet training etc and have a good understanding of child development. Including working knowledge of the EYFS stages of development.
I am used to cooking healthy balanced meals for children and have a Food Hygiene certificate.
I am Ofsted registered and have an up-to-date DBS check and Paediatric First Aid.
