About Me
I run Ladybird Childminding Service in Pudsey.
I am 44 years old and live with my husband and 2 children age 17 and 20
We are a non smoking household and currently have 1 dog (chocolate Lab) and 2 friendly cats
I have a large house with a dedicated playroom as well as use of the rest of the downstairs area. A large enclosed rear garden with grassed, patio and decked areas and a child's playhouse. I provide a healthy menu with mostly home cooked meals as well as 2 snacks daily which include fresh fruit.
I undertake any training that I think will help me in providing the best care I can. And understand the importance of working with parents to provide continuity of care for children.
I plan activites within the 7 areas of learning under th EYFS and observe children to assess development.
I have been graded as providing a GOOD level of care at all 3 of my previous inspections .
Children will always be the main priority in the setting.

I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I have worked as a registered childminder since 2005
I have 2 children of my own and have cared for children of family members and friends throughout my life.
I also have 5 yrs catering experience which i have been able to use during my time as a parent and a childminder to plan and impliment a healthy menu for the children.

I will undertake any training relevent to my role as a childminder to enable me to provide appropriate care for children placed with me and future children
My Availability
My working hours are 7.45am -5.30pm mon - Fri.
At present I am able to offer care for children from birth - 11 yrs. (Older of required)
I currently do drop off/collection from Pudsey southroyd school & nursey.
I am happy to take term time only contracts and do not charge a retainer fee during school holidays as this allows me to have more quality time with my own children when they are not in school.
I can provide Emergency cover for childminder illness/ holiday Mon& Fri during Term time and any weekday during school hols.
Can also provide short term care for school hols on a holiday to holiday basis

This includes Nappies, wipes, all food, outings and all activities
Any other requirements can be dicussed and if possible catered for.

Our daughter was a one of Vera's ladybirds. She had the most fantastic time while she was there. We were extremely happy with the setting and the vision that Vera has set for her establishment. We have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.
