My Requirements

I am looking for tutors for my 12 year old asd son who has no school place and is being provided with EOTAS from the LA as alternative provision. He is non speaking but very bright.

I’m hoping to find 2 tutors who would generally work 2 or 3 days with him (roughly 9am to 3pm) in term time (plus potentially school holidays but that’s not essential).

Key aspects of the role would be willing to train in his spelling communication method (training provided), implement lessons, be happy to be in sole responsibility when we have to work (I’m only 5 minutes away though and often there is a parent around), implement therapies under guidance of SLT/OT, take him out to groups and activities (this is introduced slowly with a parent present initially).
