Hi, I’m Becca!
I have 16 years of experience of working with children in a range of settings, including being a class teacher in a primary school and a nanny for the past 7 years.
After 2 lovely years at my current role, the time has come for the children to start nursery full time and so I am therefore looking for a new role to start in January 2027.
I would be happy to help with school drop off/ pick ups, homework and light housework and cooking as well as looking after the children, playing with them, educating them and helping them explore the world around them. I have worked as a nanny in the area for a while and know some great playgroups and activities which the children always love and I am always keen to find new places to explore with the children.

My Experience
Nanny for the past 7 years, working with children from newborn twins - aged 10. Have great twin experience and have spent 5 of these years with 2 different sets of twins.
Class teacher at a primary school, working each year from reception - year 3 for 5 years.
Special educational needs early years educator at a Sure Start Children’s Centre for children aged 0-5.
Nursery nurse in 3 nurseries, working with children aged 0-5.
Work placements during degree and post graduate degree in nurseries and schools.
My Qualifications
PGCE (teacher training degree with masters credits)
BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies degree (2:1)
3 A levels (A-C)
11 GCSE'S (A-C)
My Availability
Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm
Can be full time or term time only
Preference is working 4 days a week

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Becca has been working with us for the past 2 years and she is absolutely incredible! My kids love her and she has become a real friend to us all. Becca used to be a teacher, which has massively benefited our kids education and the structure she has brought to their day, has been noticed by all.
Sadly Becca will have to leave us later this year due to our youngest starting school and we are already torn up about the thought of it (so much so, that we considered pushing forward plans to have baby number 3, to keep her around for another 3 years!)
She really is 'Mary Poppins' and I couldn't trust anyone more to look after my children.
