My name is Bryony, I am 31 years old and a Qualified Primary School Teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience across both mainstream primary schools and specialist SEN settings. I currently teach in a local Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, where I support children with a wide range of learning, communication and physical needs.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children from newborn babies through to 15 years of age, both as part of my professional teaching experience and through regular babysitting for local families. These experiences have enabled me to develop a caring, patient and adaptable approach, ensuring every child feels safe, supported and valued.
I pride myself on being a trustworthy, reliable, friendly and enthusiastic childcare professional. I am passionate about helping children thrive and enjoy creating positive, engaging experiences that support their confidence, independence and development. Whether caring for young children, supporting homework, planning fun activities or providing a reassuring presence, I always strive to provide the highest standard of care.
Alongside my teaching experience, I have extensive knowledge and practical experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I have worked with children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Down syndrome and a variety of other additional needs. I also have personal experience supporting a family member with additional needs, giving me both professional expertise and a genuine understanding of the importance of personalised, compassionate care.
I am experienced in supporting children with a range of medical conditions and allergies and understand the importance of following care plans, routines and individual requirements to ensure every child remains safe and happy.
Since moving to Surrey, I have also built a successful tutoring service for local primary-aged children. Every tutoring programme is individually tailored to the child’s learning needs and curriculum objectives. Before beginning tuition, I arrange a call with parents to discuss their child’s strengths, current attainment and areas for development, allowing me to create engaging, personalised sessions that build confidence as well as academic progress.

I was previously a class teacher at a very well known local junior school, who have an OFSTED rating of 'Outstanding', but I also have experience of doing school pick ups for a family and caring for a number of families in their own home.
I am currently teaching in an ‘Outstanding’ rated special education needs school.
I have completed overnight and weekend babysitting for many families and this is something I would be more than happy to do if it was needed.
Before and during my teaching degree I gained experience looking after children of all different ages I volunteered in a a few nurseries, many primary schools, in special needs settings and also in a secondary school.
I began babysitting when I was just 17 years old and over the years have done a range of one off and regular babysitting for many different families, who I am still in contact with now and could gather references from if they were required.
I have good makaton skills, which I have learned through personal experience as a member of my family uses makaton to communicate.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
My fees are £35 an hour for tutoring sessions.
