About Me
Hello, my name is Kelly and I am an Ofsted Registered childminder living in the Swinley area of Wigan with my husband and 2 children.
I offer quality care for children from birth onwards in a warm, friendly home from home setting situated near to parks, Haigh Hall, the library, and lots of local playgroups. My aim is to promote children's development through play and exploration whilst following the EYFS framework.
The children I care for are safe and feel comfortable here, they settle quickly and are very happy and have lots of fun in a warm, loving environment.

My opening hours are 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

I offer school pick ups / drop offs to Mabs Cross primary school and St Mary and St Johns primary school.

Alice has been looked after by Kelly since she was 2 years old.
I cannot recommend Kelly enough, she is so loving, caring, reassuring and just all round AMAZING.

Thank you Ammie, it has been a joy having Alice we will miss her.
We decided to move our daughter from a day nursery at age 2 as she had never really settled and it was traumatic leaving her to go to work. We met with Kelly at her home, and from that first meeting, it was clear this lady would change all of our lives for the better. Our daughter has loved every minute of being with Kelly and the other children. She has developed her thirst for knowledge and independence. She is an August baby and has an underactive thyroid so I was worried that she may fall behind or not stay in line with other children. But I credit Kelly for ensuring she is working ‘above expected’ for her ahe and is developing more and more each day. Kelly is kind, nurturing and welcoming and makes every child feel heard and special. Deciding to use Kelly as your childminder will guarantee your child has the best start in life. We are going to miss her so much.

Thank you Charlotte, I have loved having Olive, she has been a joy.
Kelly is worth her weight in gold.
She has cared for my daughter over the past couple of years and really shaped her into the little girl that she is.
Kelly has fantastic professionalism. She always keeps in touch and communicates well. She also keeps you up to date in the day with pictures in the day.
The environment that Kelly provides is always safe, clean & catered to the children she cares for.
My daughter absolutely loved her like a family member as Kelly has that personability. Yet, she can be firm when needs be and offers lots of positive reinforcement. You can really see that she has a lot of knowledge about child development.
Kelly offers snacks & drinks throughout the day and does a variety of activities with the children, which are all aimed at educating and improving confidence and imagination.
We are really going to miss seeing her as my daughter sadly has to leave to go to school. I wish we could take kelly with us!
