Hello, I’m Emma. I have been working with children and families for over 15 years in a variety of settings, supporting children from early years through to teenagers.
I am also a mother to two late-teenage boys, which has given me a good personal understanding of family life and children’s development.
I have a strong interest in play through creativity. I particularly enjoy combining art, imagination, and the natural world to create thoughtful and engaging play experiences for children.
I hold an Enhanced DBS check and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. I also have a foundation in play therapy and a BA (Hons) in Design Crafts/Textiles.
I specialise in supporting families with SEN children and those who are home educating, offering calm, creative, and attentive support that helps children feel secure and able to thrive.
I work on a flexible basis that suits families or home schooling.
