About Me
Mother to a 6 year old non verbal, ASD child with global development delay / learning difficulties.
Very limited danger awareness, doesn’t like loud or busy environments (although can be loud himself, likes own space or playing alone when focused on a task, can hit when disregulated.
Loves Peppa Pig, numbers and letters, printing and cutting out pictures and words, things than move and spin, bubles, being outdoors, water play, sand, playdoh, cooking, musical instruments and tickles!
My Requirements
Looking for a personal assistant who will provide 121 care and support for my child. Someone who can provide personal care and keep them safe. Someone who will learn to read non verbal cues, giving space when required but also gently trying to engage in my child’s world to keep him stimulated, regulated and entertained.
Initially in our home, then once settled and confident, out in the community. Things like park trips, woodland walks, trampoline park etc
3 hours per week or fortnight.
6-9 hours per week during holidays.
