About Me
Hi, my name is Giovanna I have over 25 years experience as a child-minder. I am from an Italian background, I enjoy helping children to learn and develop and having an enjoyable time.
My Experience
I have gained many new experiences within the 25+ years that I have been a child-minder. I enjoy child-minding as it enables me to gain many experiences, meet new people and help and encourage others to develop.
I am fluent in Italian, helping children to learn useful phrases in Italian as well as participating in many activities to help with confidence and development.
At home, children are able to participate in many activities including: painting, numeracy, building, literacy, reading, singing and many more. I also do my best to put the children's and parents needs first, helping as best as I can to ensure both the child and parents are satisfied with my service.
We also take part in many other activities such as visiting the park, library, messy play and playgroup. As the house is quite big, there is plenty of space for children to enjoy many activities in the house and in the garden.
I cater for many needs including: vegetarian, halal, lactose intolerant, glucose intolerant.

My Availability
I am looking for children aged 3months + to look after either full time or part time from Mondays - Fridays 7am - 6pm. I am available for immediate start, please feel free to contact me via phone or email: with any questions.

Giovanna looked after my 2 year old daughter until we moved location. She provided the best service I could have asked for! She treated my daughter like one of her own. My daughter loved going there and was always looking forward to seeing her and always left with a smile on her face when I picked her up.
Giovanna goes above and beyond to ensure all needs and care is meet. When picking my daughter up everyday, her speech/vocabulary was being much clearer and better, as well as her eating.
Very flexible and accommodating, met all our needs with times and dates. If we still lived closer I would 100% still send my daughter to her.

Giovanna picks up and looks after my children age 8 and 5 after school and I could not be more happy with her service. My kids love and adore her. Every evening when I pick them up they always have a smile on their face. She’s very understanding and supportive to your needs. She’s looked after my 5yr old from he was 3yrs old and he just adores her. She has a beautiful soul and she treats my children as if she was their grandmother. I am so happy I met her and I don’t ever worry about my kids because I know they are in safe hands.

We are so grateful to have found Giovanna to take care of our 11 month old son Jesse.
Having been very nervous about putting my son in childcare (he was born a week before lockdown, so is very attached to me and my husband!) I could not have been put more at ease with Giovanna. She is so kind, warm and loving - you can tell the minute you meet her that she genuinely adores children. She is so attentive and affectionate to our boy, and has noticed his likes and dislikes really quickly.
In addition to all this, her house is beautiful - extremely spacious, clean and tidy. There are lots of interesting toys and books for the children to play with and read, and her setting really feels like a home away from home.
I feel as confident leaving Jesse with Giovanna as I do my own Mum, which is really saying something! She treats our son like he is family and we already feel like part of the family too. Could not recommend enough!
