About Me
Not presently looking for childcare. We are lucky enough to be parents of 3 boys and are looking for after school help!
My Requirements
We are looking for childcare on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from –3.15-6pm. Open to considering a combination of days if all four don’t suit!
Role would involve picking up two of our boys from school / after school clubs (our eldest walks home from school by himself). We live super close to school - which is very useful - we are also lucky to live in a lovely community where the children have lots of friends. After school pick we would ask that you perhaps take them to the park for an hour or so / doing a craft activity / or taking them to an activity / reading / homework with them. Our eldest son is fairly happy reading / playing games by himself so whilst we would ask you to keep an eye on him focus is mainly on the two younger boys. You would also need to make the children tea for them all.
There may be occasions where either of us are back later than 6pm - and would ask for an extra hour or so. We don’t anticipate this would be very often and would obviously discuss with you in advance but would be good to know if this would be difficult.
A little more about the boys… our eldest son is just starting year 6 and he loves hockey, football and reading. He will often be found with a pile of books working his way through them! He enjoys school and makes friends easily and has a lovely group of friends.
Our middle son is creative – he is always planning a new scheme or project. He loves his crafts and cooking. He is a confident boy and makes friends easily. He is just starting year 4 and particularly loves climbing and can often be found up a tree!
Our youngest son enjoys trying to keep up with his elder brothers, and loves being read to and it is lovely to see him starting to enjoy reading by himself. He chatters away and is known in school for always having a smile on his face. He loves to tell stories and help in the kitchen. He is confident around older children and at the moment particularly loves animals - especially penguins. He is just starting year 2.
Previously we have had au pairs living with us as well as after school nannies so the boys are used to and adapt quickly to new faces! We are a busy but friendly and welcoming household - we often work from home and would look to ensure one of us was around whilst you settle in! We foster guide dogs - so there is often a very calm trainee guide dog around the house. We are fortunate that our home is close to the bridges into the city centre and therefore is quite accessible on foot or by bike.
