My name is Lorna Blitz. I am 48 years old and have been married to Nigel for 26 years. Together we have two wonderful girls, Emily (aged 18) and Ruby (aged 15). Ruby attends The Cedars Academy and Emily is at Loughborough College. I have good links with local Preschools and playgroups too.
We have lived in Birstall for many years now, and love the community atmosphere and surrounding countryside.
Our smoke-free house has plenty of room for both play and quiet times, and we have a fully enclosed garden to the rear. It is located in a quiet suburb of Birstall, Leicestershire less than ten minutes walk from the nearest park. I have recently been inspected by Ofsted and have been given a good/outstanding rating.

I've been a registered childminder for over 11 years and a parent for 18. I have experience with children with different needs and abilities.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Hours
I work Monday to Friday between the hours of 07.00 to 17.30, however these times are negotiable.
I usually take 3-4 weeks annual leave throughout the year and I will always give you plenty of notice prior to taking time off.
Availability
As well as term time hours shown above, I also offer care throughout the school holidays and emergency cover.
Fees
These are negotiable, per hour per child, depending on your needs. The fee will still be payable if your child cannot attend on a booked day.
Payment is taken in advance, by cash, bank transfer or
childcare voucher. A receipt will be provided by email.
