My name is Janet foster I’m very happy go lucky, trustworthy and loyal. I’m a great believer in treat people with respect and honesty and that’s how you get treated in return.
I’m a very arty and have a very creative imagination when it comes to working with children and help my fellow nannies with new and creative ideas. I love getting out for walks and nature trails plus am nonstop arts and crafts fanatic, messy play and imaginative role play. I have worked with all ages, this came about as I have a daughter of my own and started back to work in breakfast and after school clubs attached to her school so she was able to attend with me so no childminder needed.
I have worked and managed a number of afterschool clubs lunchtime activity clubs and breakfast clubs, holiday clubs but as my daughter entered full time and got older I started in nurseries.
I worked my way up the nursery being room leader to all ages then Room leader to a 38 place preschool with eight staff under me which was no easy task but I work well under pressure.
I enjoy on a more personal level with children rather than all the paperwork at a nursery which I have done for the last four years and have enjoyed a great deal. I have worked for two families in a nanny share and the two families were good friends with each other they both had 2 children aged 4 years old and 6 years old. so sometimes i had all 4 four children to keep occupied with activities.
The only reason i left contract was it came to an end as children all in full time school.
I'm currently working with three children, all girls aged 3, 4 & 6.
I am ofsted registered
have an enhanced DBS
and paediatric first aider
NYQ 3 qualified have a very wide range of certificates in all areas of childcare

Responsible for looking after four young children in a nanny share with two families.
Children’s ages were two boys four years old, one girl six years old and six year old boy
Being totally focused on the children. Organising new and exciting activities to develop their imaginations and independence. Implementing their daily routines and helping them to grow, learn and develop into their own unique and individual characters.
Duties
Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of young children
Getting children ready in the morning and then taking them to school.
Encourage development in skills such as reading, writing, arithmetic, drawing, music, dressing telling time etc
Attending any medical appointments or social events with the children. organising play dates
Helping children with afterschool activities like homework.
Being disciplined with the children when required.
Providing supervision and constant care to children.
Stimulating children to be active.
Playing with the children and provide stimulating activities.
Planning and organising age related activities.
Nursery duties
Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas and bathrooms.
Keeping kitchen and any other areas used by me and the children clean and tidy.
