About Me

I am a positive and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about encouraging children to develop confidence and autonomy when it comes to their learning. I am very patient with children and use techniques of positive praise and encouragement to help them in their learning. I encourage metacognitive thinking, helping children to understand how they think to learn.

I am passionate about working with young children and love supporting them through play, creativity & their imagination in order to discover the world around them. I find looking after children incredibly rewarding being able to watch them develop and grow.

My Experience

I am a primary school teacher working in Reception and have previously taught in KS2. I have knowledge on curriculum from Nursery to Year 6. I have a good knowledge of phonics and can support with getting your child ready for reception in September.

I also have 5+ years of EYFS experience working both as a Nursery Nurse in a private nursery setting and as a TA in a primary school nursery class.

DBS check with a clean record and have recently updated my first aid training.

QTS - United Teaching
2:1 BA in Childhood Studies - University of Essex

Level 3 BTEC Children's Play, Learning and Development
CACHE Level 3 Award in Childcare and Eduction

My Availability

Friday Evenings and Weekends for babysitting.
Evenings for tutoring and babysitting are possible depending on required time & location.
