About Me
I live with my 3 children aged 5 10, & 18 years of age. my oldest has moved out now.
we have a Husky dog, rabbits and chickens.
I have a big house with 3 reception rooms, which means i am able to provide a children's playroom, i have a large garden with ample space for children of varying ages to take part in various activities.
I offer full time or part time care for children from babies up to 12 years+. I have a wide range of toys and natural resources to promote fun and learning for all the ages that i care for, we go out to local places such as; park, beach, toddler groups, meet with other childminders,go to childminding drop-ins and i play an active part in the childminders allotment. we visit the woods and farm and lots of other exciting places.
I am registered to work with assistants which allows me to offer more spaces and greater flexibility. all assistants are first aid trained and DBS checked. I am also registered for overnight care.
My Experience
I have had over 20 years experience in childcare, i am a parent, have worked in nurseries and I have been an ofsted registered childminder since October 2003.
I have experience of looking after children aged from 4 months - 13 years, I also have experience with children with ADHD, Autismn spectrum disorder, special diets (allergies and religious), english as additonal language.
My Qualifications
I hold an NNEB diploma in childcare, paediatric first aid trained, senco stage 1,2,3, health and safety, food hygiene, child protection, BSL stage 1.
I am constanty updating my training and reviewing my practice to provide the best possible care to the children and most efficient service to parents.
I am also part of my local childminding group. I can provide the funded early years education entitlement (EYEE) for eligible 2, 3 &4 year olds.
My Availability
I am working with 1 assistant, I have 2 or 3 part time spaces available. please contact me for more information.
I collect (and drop) from St Andrews infant school and Tollgate junior school.
we can also offer school holiday care.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.75 per hour
*£4.75 per hour basic rate, (8-5 mon -fri) flexible service offered please ask for more details
*fees increase every April
