About Me
My name is Jemma, I'm available for weekend/week day childcare plus evening babysitting. I have 10 years experience looking after children age 2.5 years to up to early teens. I can provide excellent current references. I am an ad hoc part time after school arts and crafts club leader in 2 schools which I thoroughly enjoy. In my 20s i worked as a PA but it wasn't rewarding for me so i decided to work with children. I enjoy creative activities with children and i like to help them learn and encourage them. I'm planning to enrol in a distance learning Child Development/Psychology course to further my understanding and knowledge. I attend happy, calmer parenting courses run by author of Calmer, Easier, Happier parenting book which are very useful. I consider myself to be kind, patient and hard working. I can provide a CV.
My interests are Reading, Nature, Music and cycling.
My Experience
I have 10 years childcare experience looking after children age 2.5 years up to early teens. Usual nanny duties: arts and crafts, play dates, swimming and park trips, days out, home work/tutoring for key stage 1 and 2. Meal prep and bath time and putting to bed.

Jemma was our nanny/childminder for approx 5 years looking after our son and daughter, beginning with us when our daughter was around 3-4 years old. We couldn’t have been happier, highly reliable with such a lovely relaxed and calm manner, Jemma is a very kind individual and we always felt she had the right combo of fun yet sensible! Tasked with day trips and meal prepping, school pick ups, playground/crafts and homework. Jemma was a delight, always going the extra mile and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other families in the area.

Jemma was my son's part time nanny, and was responsible for school pick up, lunch, play dates, etc. She performed her duties enthusiastically and was always on time. I would recommend her as a nanny! Thanks
