My Experience

I have been an au pair for the last ten years in Ireland, America, Spain and Austria. I have also worked as a nanny in York and London. I have experience with pet care and light housework. I have also volunteered in Steiner Waldorf schools. I have worked in a local nursery for the last year. I love children and in my spare time I read parenting books and watch Super Nanny!

My Qualifications

I had au pair training in New York which included baby first aid. I have recently completed a course called "Supporting Birth to two year olds in the EYFS" and "Adopting a loving pedagogy". I also have level two food safety and hygiene. I did French and Spanish in school and after living in Spain for six months I now have basic Spanish and enjoy teaching this to the children. I have an AS level in English literature. I took creative writing classes in America and I sometimes write short stories for the children. I have A Levels in Psychology, Sociology and English Language, which included child language development. I have just finished a course at York St John University studying Psychology and Counselling and I am a certified life coach.

My Availability

I am looking for my next nanny family and am also available for part-time nanny work, as well as ad hoc babysitting. I'm also available for house and pet care. I've just finished my university course in Psychology and am now looking for my next job.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

For night-time babysitting when the children are asleep is £12an hour. For day time nanny work I take £13 an hour.
