Hello, my names Georgia and I’m 26 years of age. I’m currently working for a family in Beaconsfield but will be leaving them in September 2024 as the children will be starting school full time. I am now starting to look for another family to offer my support, love and kindness to.
Is bit about my previous employment history…
I previously worked for 3 families as a nanny, looking after children ages 11months-6 years. I have also worked for a charity as a support worker for children and adults with learning disabilities, helping them around the community and with any of their creative wishes. I was a PA for a family in Surrey for 4 years, working with a young lady with Down syndrome also.
I’m going to be moving to Pitstone in August with my little dog and partner and I’m more than happy to use my own car for transport, having business insurance. I have a clean driving license for 7 years, A DBS registration and currently refreshing my first aid course.
I have grown up surround by many different children, my mum has been a foster carer 17 years, so as you can imagine i have learnt to adapt to many circumstances with children of all ages and backgrounds. My brother has mild autism so that has also helped shape me as a person as i understand that not every child is the same. If you have any enquiries please feel free to contact me.
My Experience
I’m currently Nannying for a family with a 3 year old and a 6 year old, doing school runs and daytime activities for the little one between school hours.
I am my mums nominated carer, so whenever she has gone on holiday or needs cover I step in and look after the foster children at home (currently 3 aged 7, 12 and 13).
I’ve previously worked for a charity working with children aged 6-18 with learning disabilities. I would support them with their socialisation skills, creative activities and helping them get in and around the community.
My Qualifications
I am DBS registered through the update system.
Graduated from Royal Holloway University with a 2.1 in Socioligy and Criminology.
4 years experience with children and Adults with special needs.
