Just a bit about me:
I am 27 years old, from South Wales and moved to Maidenhead in October 2018. I have no children but do have children in the family.
I have come from a busy household during my childhood, having 3 sisters, I am used to the bickering, loving, helping and borrowing of each others clothes and just having people who are always there for me.
I am very reliable, trustworthy and punctual, my parents always set the standard that you get up and you go to work, I have always lived by this so it takes a lot to keep me home, I have to be really ill to take a sick day.
I actually enjoy cleaning, so any housekeeper and cleaning duties in addition to childcare duties are fine.
I am very sporty, am a black belt in TaeKwon-Do, enjoy running and attend the gym regularly as well as badminton, tennis and running. I also love the outdoors so would love taking the children on adventures.
I enjoy baking, or rather trying to bake. The end result is not always what I had planned, but the children always enjoy the experience and never complain when they are munching down on whatever we have baked.
I enjoy reading, love Harry Potter, completing puzzles and board games. A rainy day would never be boring, we would don on our wellies and coats, enjoy a rainy outside adventure, before a cozy fun time in the house. Or Just enjoy a good old rainy day, playing games, reading and having fun.
My Experience
I am qualified in CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. I have 9 years experience which I have spent mostly in a nursery environment with children aged between 6 weeks and 8 years. I am also starting my degree in childcare and learning in September (this will be one day a week).
I have gained my experience through working in 3 busy day nurseries and one playgroup. I am currently in the position of assistant manager at a busy day nursery.
Although nannying will be a new experience for me, I know I can take it in my stride. I am looking to try something new in my career, looking for a lovely family that I can bond with and really watch the children grow. I am willing to learn and will follow on with your routine, I am happy to present myself in a way that would continue on from your parental care.
I have three nieces aged 13, 11 and almost 3 and three nephews aged 17, 9 and 5 years who I have been relied upon to care for even before I had pursued a career in childcare. In addition to this, I have often helped to babysit for parents outside of nursery hours.
I am up to date with first aid, food hygiene, behaviour management and child protection training and have also attending small amounts of SEN and Autism training. I have local authority safeguarding training as well as many certificates from training I have obtained over the years. I also have a clean and up to date DBS certificate.
I have a full and clean driving licence and have been driving for 8 years, I have access to my own car which is a 2018 plate Nisan Micra.

My Availability
I am looking for a full time position or as close to as possible. I start my degree in September which means I would be unavailable on Tuesdays during term time. I am also available for overtime, babysitting and housekeeping.
