My name is Monika. I am Ofsted Registered childminder. I live with my husbend who is my assistant . We both hold a paediatric First Aid Certificate which we keep update every 3 years. I have one more assistant. We all have Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Criminal Record Certificates. My services are covered by public liability insurance.
I have opened my childcare business in 2014 however I’m excellently experienced in working with children. I was babysitter in Poland and England for many years .
I have worked as a voluntary teaching assistant at Windmill Preschool in Kettering after which I used to work there. I was also working in Polish School which is at ’St Andrew’s C of E Primary School & Nursery’.
We live in a non-smoking semi-detatched at Northumberland Road, Kettering, NN15 6LN which is close to Wicksteed Park which we visit frequently.
Children have an open Playroom with a weve to garden. Children have also access to our Living room, which is mainly used for the quieter activities, such as chill-out /nap, story time etc; the kitchen/diner which is used at mealtimes and for activities such as craft, baking, homework and a TV (for educational and recreational purposes). We also have a safe enclosed back garden where children can use water/sand tray and play, bike, scooter any other outdoor activities.
My aim is to provide parents with high quality childcare which is convenient, flexible and affordable and to provide your children with a ‘home from home’ environment, where they feel safe, secure, relaxed and able to enjoy their time spent here.
Offering indoor and outdoor activities to entertain children: painting (paintbrush /hands/stamps), drawing, coloring, cooking, dancing, dressing up, playing with range of toys; cartoons; reading, writing; trips to parks, playgrounds, library or play groups; picnics and lots more.
I observe and assess children, recording their progress within the Early Years Foundation Stage. Every child will have an Individual File in which I will record their progress and you will be able to look at photographs and observation which should demonstrate their learning.
I offer various means of promoting positive attitudes and behavior: treasure boxes, positive verbal feedback, stickers etc.
Self care and Hygiene are important to me. I make sure children always wash their hands: after outside activities, toileting, handling pets and before eating.
I always listen to your child’s needs and your expectations and I do my best to make you very satisfied and your child happy. Every child is supervised, protected and safe. I treat every child with the utmost respect to their individuality.
I offer full time spaces for 3 months - 5 years. I also offer occasionally and an emergency care .

Our son Leon started nursery when he was only 18 months old, and from the very beginning he was surrounded by Miss Monika’s incredible care, patience, kindness and warmth. Throughout his time at nursery, until he turned four, we always felt reassured knowing that he was in such wonderful hands.
Miss Monika helped Leon feel safe and comfortable, encouraged his independence and confidence, and supported him beautifully through every stage of his development. It is clear that she does her job with genuine love, dedication and passion. Leon always enjoyed going to nursery, and as parents we always felt complete trust and gratitude towards her.
We are incredibly grateful that Miss Monika was such an important part of our son’s early years. It will be very difficult for us to say goodbye, as she has become someone truly special in Leon’s life.
In September, Leon will be starting school. We are incredibly proud of how much he has grown, but at the same time, we will miss Miss Monika and this special chapter of his life so much. 🥹❤️

Our daughter Matylda attended Monika’s Childminding from September 2024 until August 2026. She was only 18 months old when she first started.
From the very beginning, we knew we had found the best possible place for her. Matylda was still in nappies, and throughout the entire time she was in Monika’s care, she never had any nappy rash and was always clean, changed, and well looked after. Monika also made sure she had her naps on time every day, which helped maintain a healthy daily routine.
We are especially grateful for the support Monika gave us during weaning and toilet training. She showed incredible patience and experience, and her help made these important milestones much easier for both our daughter and us.
We truly believe that the time Matylda spent at Monika’s Childminding had a significant impact on her development. She is a very active child, and every day she took part in a wide variety of activities that encouraged her learning, creativity, confidence, and independence.
Over the two years she attended, we never experienced any problems. Childcare was always available, and the children were consistently cared for in a safe, warm, and nurturing environment. On the few occasions when unexpected circumstances meant we needed to collect Matylda later than planned, Monika was always understanding and happy to keep her for longer. We were incredibly grateful for her flexibility and kindness.
The range of activities provided for the children was outstanding. They celebrated birthdays and special occasions throughout the year, including Easter, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparents' Day, and many other events. Matylda also regularly came home with beautiful arts and crafts, allowing us to see how much she was learning and creating.
Throughout the entire time Matylda attended Monika’s Childminding, we never once worried about her safety. We always knew she was being cared for by someone who was responsible, caring, and genuinely dedicated to every child.
We wholeheartedly recommend Monika’s Childminding to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and supportive environment for their child. If you are wondering who to trust with your little one, we can honestly say that Monika is one of the best childcare providers we could have wished for. We are incredibly grateful for the past two years and for everything she has done for our daughter.

Leaving Monika was much harder than we ever expected because she became such a special part of our son's life. From the very beginning, she welcomed him with so much love, kindness, and patience that he always felt safe, happy, and excited to see her. As parents, there is no greater comfort than knowing your child is loved and cared for as if they were family. We will always be grateful for everything Monika has done for our little boy. She has the biggest heart, and anyone lucky enough to have their child in her care will know exactly what we mean. Thank you, Monika, for all the beautiful memories. We will never forget you. ❤️

For a long time I was looking for a polish nursery/childminder to look after my girls in order for them to learn the language and traditions of Poland- I found Monika childminding through a polish community group.
My two little girls have been going to Monika for a couple of months and absolutely LOVE it at aunty Monika's.
It's home away from home :)
Monika is an amazing creative person who is great with children while striving to teach them in a fun and creative way.
As much as my girls love going to Monika I can't wait to hear and get photos on what they have been up to in day
There is no other nursery that I would recommend

My son Jano has been with Monika and Jarek from a young age and he has absolutely loved being looked after by them. He is always happy and excited to be spending the day with them and loves seeing all his friends there. Monika and Jarek just loves kids and they treaded all of them like their own. Their communication has always been excellent, with both children and parents, the children have a wide variety of activities during the day including plenty of time outside. They learned my son lots of songs and they gave him lots of reasons for laugh. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for top quality, reliable, caring childminding in the Kettering area.

Monika is looked after my children for the last one years.
I cannot fault her at all. The children have been looked after like part of her family.
She is supported and encouraged good development at all stages. She is a helpful and very inventive person. Monika is very good at keeping parents in the loop. She it's in touch when necessary and informs me of the day and what they have been doing.
She has been very flexible and accommodating on the last one years and we would have been lost without her!

My son has been going to Monika for the past 2 years since he was 9 months old, and I couldn’t wish for a better childminder. Monika is always professional and has a lovely manner with the children- she is bubbly, kind, and gentle. She is also flexible and will always help out when she can. My son enjoys a variety of activities with Monika, she is very creative person. I trust Monika completely and my son loves to go her house. I feel very lucky that Monika looks after my child making my time at work much easier knowing he is in safe hands and happy.

I can truly say that the decision what I have been made was the best decision for me and for my little one. My 3 year old daughter is with Monika since she has turned 1.5.
I was always very happy and calm leaving my daughter with Monika. I knew and I still know is is in really good hands. Contact with Monika is on the highest level as well. Whatever is happening with my little one she is always contacting me. Sending lots of pictures every day.
My little one is loving being with Monika and her Partner.
Of course ,in 100%I can recommend Monikas as a great childminder for all kids.

Monika has been looking after our second child for nearly 2 years and we can't say anything wrong about her! My daughter loved to go there and spend time with Monika and her Partner. They have a special bond, my little one misses her childminder a lot now!
I was always very pleased with the state of my daughter leaving childminder every day (clean clothes, dry nappy, full tummy and smily face). Communication has always been super: I have been receiving messages during the day how my child is doing. Place is always clean and Monika puts a lot of attention to hygiene.
Monika has done her best to support us as a parents. Listened our request aswell and followed our instructions regarding our child.
I can 100% recommend that place and if I have another child in the future Monika would be our first choice.

I recommend Monika with all my heart. My child was so attached to me that it was impossible for him to remain with anyone other than me. He was afraid of other children in the playground. We were in several outlets and a few childminders, but after 30 minutes of fun my son was crying so much that I had to take him home. When we came to Monika's childmining my child suddenly began to play with other children without crying. When I left him there was a cry that lasted only 2 minutes and only for the first month. My son loved going there. Monika is a very creative person who loves children and children love her.
With a clear conscience I recommend :)
