Childminder since 2017

A childminder to our daughters for 5 years, Rachael has been like a second mummy. Both Lottie and Ellie have adored their time under Racheal’s care and she has been a major influence on them and their development. Her genuine approach of guiding, supporting and caring has been wrapped in a soothing mentorship; this has meant my girls have very much had a mother figure during my working hours.

My first recollection of Rachael is her opening her front door with a beautiful young toddler in her arms and Rachael with an array of pretty hair clips in her hair, all added by another child where they had been playing hairdressers. Rachael sat with me and cuddled the child and allowed her to continue to play with her hair. The natural warmth between them, and the trust held on the child’s part, spoke volumes. I paid attention to that more than Rachael’s words in all honesty and it was the best reference I needed: they adored her and she adored them. It was mutual. I hardly read the references in the folder she gave me. There was no need: this affection could not be faked and I knew there and then she was an outstanding practitioner with a true natural way with children. 


Throughout the past five years I have never had to complain about Rachael. I have never had to raise an issue and there has been no concerns on any level. My children never got one late mark to school throughout all these years. Without doubt, Rachael provides a secure and caring environment and her resources are clean and modern: toys are new and well kept. Indoor activities are appropriate and include trips to playgrounds and parks. Rachael sends several photos throughout the day and my girls always returned home happy and bright.

I would thoroughly recommend Rachael as an outstanding childminder. Her house is modern, clean, tidy and her family is welcoming and equally lovely. I would completely recommend Rachael as a childminder. Her natural way with children speaks volumes and she is, quite simply, a really, really lovely lady.

Amazing childminder and person

Rachael has looked after our both children,our son Daniel for nearly 3 years and after our daughter Olivia for over a year.
She has been amazing support and help for our family,she was the one who noticed that our son development was a bit slower then expected in his age. She gave us directions and guidance what to do. ( after 1.5 year our son was diagnosed with ASD). We could not do this without her ❤️. Thank you 🙏
When was time for our daughter Olivia to go to care,we didn’t think twice sending her to Rachael.
Rachael provides secure and caring
environment and nothing is too much trouble.
She is warm and friendly and provides
a wide, fun range of activities, especially outdoor such as going to the local parks, playgrounds and playgroups.
Throughout a day Rachael would send me photos of children which I was always looking forward to receiving.

There is a huge range of toys at
the setting and she often joins in with fun, planned activities and trips out.

All in all I was completely happy with the level of care my son and daughter had received and I would absolutely recommend Rachael as a great and reliable childminder.

Simply the best

Rachael has played a huge role in our lives by childminding my youngest. My son and I both have nothing but praise for Rachael.

I viewed many childminders when searching for childcare. Rachael was actually the 1st I viewed and I instantly adored her, her care and the love she showed towards the children shone instantly. And in such a lovely homely setting too.

One thing that I always liked was Rachaels communication with me each day. Daily photos and updates on what they got up to for the day. It made me feel like I was there and not missing out while I was working. My son learnt so much with Rachael and her learning structure through play was incredible.

I would almost go as far as to say I’d almost have a 4th child just to be able to use Rachaels services.

wonderful childminder

Rachael is a wonderful Childminder, she had my son from the age of 9 months. He settled in straight away and was always happy to be dropped off with Rachael. She did so many lovely activities with my son and would regularly update me with photos of his day. She is a very caring person and her mindees all loved her. I found Rachael is very interested in the early years development of her mindees and she had some great advice. I would highly recommend her as a childminder who really cares about the children she looks after.

Best childminder in the area

I can’t recommend Rachael enough. She took my LB out and about almost every day (woods, farm, play groups) and he built great friendships and memories. He really bonded with her daughter too and he couldn’t wait to go back each morning. I never worried whilst at work and I couldn’t wait to hear what he had been up to each day.

Rachael was also very accommodating regarding working hours.

I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder
