About Me

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. registered in 2006 and have been mining ever since. For my last inspection I was graded good. (Dec 2010).
I live in a quiet road in Walthamstow with my partner and our 3 children, aged 13,10 & 2. I am within walking distance of local schools, shops, parks & local transport links.

I use the whole of the downstairs area of my property for childminding, plus an upstairs bedroom as a sleeping area, garden available for outside play.
I have a wide range of equipment to entertain children from birth upwards.
Play kitchen, dolls & buggies, Train sets, Puzzles, Arts & craft, books.

I attend local toddler group, and take the children to the local library, farms, forest, parks and shops. I spend most days with other childminders so all the children are socialized.

I am a member of Professional association for childcare & early years.(PACEY)

I also helps to run a toddler group within a building that has a Pre-school in, which I am on the committee for.

My Experience

I have 3 children of my own 2 daughters and a son.

I have been a full time mum since my son was born in 2004 when I was made redundant.

In 2006 I decided to Register as a Childminder so I could spend time with my own children and provide a Home from home environment for other babies & children.

My Qualifications

CACHE level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare
Level 2 Award in Food Safety in catering.
1st Aid for children & babies.

I have also attended training on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Safeguarding & Child protection, Special Educational Needs (SEN), Using the Builder's Tray (Creative/Messy Play) Tots Talk and Musical movement.
