About Me
Hello my name is Natalie; I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder caring for children from birth onwards. I provide a safe, secure and nurturing home from home environment where your child can play, learn and develop.
I set up Nats Nippers 8 years ago and it has been more successful than I ever expected. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say, I love my job!
I follow the EYFS as required by Ofsted and take pride in planning activities that your child will enjoy, but also being led by the children by letting them decide what they would like to do on the day. Whether it be a trip to the beach, treasure hunt in the woods or getting messy in the mud kitchen..... The children always have great fun!
My Experience
I previously worked in my local primary school where I gained a level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools qualification.
As well as this, I have two children of my own, so I can assure you, your child will be in great hands as I understand fully how precious they are to you.
My Qualifications
I attend regular training courses run by the council which keeps me constantly up to date as well as this I have completed online courses. I have certificates in the following :
Safeguarding levels 2 & 3
Paediatric First Aid
Food and Hygiene
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools level 3
Health and Social Care level 2 & 3

My Availability
My opening times are 0730 to 1800 with flexibility to suit your needs. I am based in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight; Providing both full and part time care during term time and school holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I charge £5.50 per hour.
I provide healthy nutritrous home cooked food.
I also accept 2, 3 and 4 year old funding.
I can also take childcare vouchers.
My Local Schools

My daughter had been with Nats Nippers from 10 months old and will be very sad to leave when she starts school in September! She has the best time, doing forest school, trips to the beach, arts & crafts etc and I know she’s in the best hands while I’m at work. Thank you Natalie!

I Cannot recommend Natalie and her team highly enough. Both my children attend Natalie's and they love going, they do great activities and the kids feel part of the family. Natalie is always accommodating to my needs and will always try and assist me if I need extra hours etc.... Fantastic person, fantastic team, fantastic service. Xxxx

From day 1 our daughter just loved going to Natalie's. Every single day kids get to do something exciting! Natalie lives near the beach so frequent beach walks, forest exploration trips, toddler group plays, visits to the zoo and other IOW spots, cooking fun and a room full of great toys for the rainy days (not that rain stops Natalie from outdoor activities!).
I always felt that our child is very well looked after and cared for, Natalie is not just a childminder but part of our very busy family :)
