Jenna
Nanny in Reigate And Banstead (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I'm Jenna. I'm an experienced, Ofsted registered nanny and nanny-housekeeper based in Banstead. I have many years of professional childcare experience alongside being a mum of two myself.
I'm a warm, reliable and hands-on nanny who genuinely enjoys becoming part of a family's everyday life. I love getting children out and about, whether that's parks, toddler groups, activities and days out, as well as having plenty to do at home with baking, messy play, arts and crafts, reading and age-appropriate activities.
I'm equally comfortable with older children and enjoy the different relationship that develops as children grow — helping with homework and school routines, taking them to activities, preparing meals or simply being a familiar and supportive person to come home to.
I believe children benefit from lots of fun and affection alongside clear and consistent boundaries. Every family is different, so I always respect parents' individual parenting styles, routines and expectations and work closely with them to provide consistency for their children.
I'm naturally organised and proactive and am also very comfortable with the household side of family life. I'm happy to combine childcare with household duties and enjoy helping to make life that little bit easier for busy parents.
I'm Ofsted registered, have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, current Paediatric First Aid training, nanny insurance and a full UK driving licence with my own car.
Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
My Experience
Current Nanny / Housekeeper — May 2017 to Present
I currently work as a sole-charge nanny/housekeeper for a family with three children, now aged 12, 8 and 6. I have been with the family since May 2017, joining them when their middle child was still a baby.
Over the past nine years, my role has naturally evolved as the children have grown. I have supported them through the baby and toddler years, starting nursery and school, and now into their school-age years.
My childcare responsibilities include school and nursery runs, preparing meals, organising activities and outings, playdates, helping with homework and schoolwork, taking the children to clubs and appointments, and providing care during the school holidays.
Alongside the childcare, I work as their housekeeper during school hours. My responsibilities include general household cleaning, laundry and ironing, changing beds, tidying and organising, shopping and errands, and helping with the general day-to-day running of a busy family home.
Being with one family for over nine years is something I'm very proud of. It has allowed me to build a close and trusted relationship with both the children and their parents and to provide consistent, long-term care as the family's needs have changed.
Nanny Share — 4 Years
Prior to my current role, I worked for four years in a successful nanny-share arrangement across two families, providing sole-charge care for three children aged between 4 and 9.
This involved balancing the different routines and needs of three children while working closely with both sets of parents. My responsibilities included school and nursery runs, preparing meals, organising activities and days out, playdates, homework and providing care during the school holidays.
The role required a high level of organisation, communication and multitasking, as well as the ability to make sure each child received individual attention while caring for them together.
Infant Nanny — 1 Year
I also worked as a sole-charge nanny for a family with a four-month-old baby.
My role focused on providing consistent care and supporting the baby's development throughout their first year. Responsibilities included feeding and weaning, establishing and maintaining routines, naps, nappy changing, preparing food, age-appropriate play and stimulation, and attending baby groups and outings.
This gave me extensive hands-on experience of the rapid developmental changes that take place during a baby's first year and the importance of adapting activities, routines and care as they grow.
Parenting Experience
Alongside my professional experience, I'm also a mum of two children. My own experience of raising a family complements my professional childcare background and gives me an understanding of family life from a parent's perspective as well as a nanny's.
It has also given me first-hand experience across the different stages of childhood, from babies and toddlers through to the teenage years.
My Qualifications
I hold an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid qualification, renewed in July 2026 and valid for three years, ensuring my training remains current and I'm fully prepared to respond appropriately in an emergency.
I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am registered with the DBS Update Service, allowing my DBS status to remain continuously up to date.
I am Ofsted registered as a home childcarer, enabling eligible families to use Tax-Free Childcare towards the cost of my childcare.
I also hold full nanny insurance, have a full UK driving licence and my own car.
My Availability
I offer flexible availability Monday to Friday and am able to consider both four and five-day positions.
For regular nanny or nanny/housekeeper roles, I require a minimum of 35 hours per week.
I am happy to consider sole-charge nanny positions, nanny/housekeeper roles and nanny shares, depending on the individual needs of the family.
I am based in Banstead and ideally cover Banstead and the surrounding areas, although I am happy to consider positions slightly further afield for the right role.
I can offer flexibility with start and finish times and am happy to discuss individual working arrangements with families.

Jenna has been doing after school picks up for my daughter (aged 8) for around six months now. It has been a godsend not having to worry about the pick ups as Jenna is so reliable and great at communicating and my daughter loves being picked up by her. Jenna always reminds her to bring her violin and has on occasion picked her up by car especially so that my daughter could be on time to an appointment. Basically brilliant! I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Jenna’s short reference
I can only speak very highly about Jenna.
She’s been working with us for almost 6 years now, and her help is invaluable.
Jenna and her children are part of our family and set a magnificent example for my children.
She is extremely reliable, friendly, caring and loving nanny, but firm when required. She is very organised and punctual.
Her expertise with early years helped all my children settling in nursery and school smoothly.
Jenna juggles in between after school activities, homework, sports, interests and personalities of five children, all of different ages, with different needs and attitudes, making it look a very easy task.
She helps at home as well, being very discreet.
With Jenna we have definitely found our Mary Poppins.
