Part Time Nanny Job in Goudhurst
About Me
I am a mum to boys, one has just turned 13 and the other is 9. My husband and I work full time and our work is based in London. I am usually able to work from home most days although I occasionally travel abroad for work. We are lucky enough to have a lovely house with great outside space and lots to do and explore. We are a kind and welcoming family, the children are polite and well behaved (most of the time!) and we offer a lovely working environment.
My Requirements
Our current nanny housekeeper is moving on at the end of August and given the children’s ages we no longer feel a full time childcare is needed so we are looking of some wrap around care after school and ideally mornings and after school but after school is most important. As the children attend private schools the fist pick up (near Goudhurst) isn’t until 5:55 so it would suit someone who works part time during the day with a clean driving licence to bring the boys home, provide them with a meal and supervise and support homework, instrument practice etc. with a finish time to be agreed but around 6:30. The availability to assist during holidays would be an added bonus.
It will be a salaried position with a written contract, plus pension and expenses. Due to our location, a driver with a clean licence is essential we have a car that is usually available for nanny to use for work purposes, such as school drop off. We have dogs, cats horses etc. The ideal candidate will be somebody who likes animals and outdoor lifestyle.
Must be comfortable with parent being in the house working, although we have demanding jobs and are usually in the office working.
