About Me
My name is denise lloyd and I have lived in hatch warren since moving from reading in 1988. I have been minding for 25 years and before that I worked in the financial sector. My own children were cared for by childminders so I know how positive the experience can be Although I planned to do this job for a short while I find it so rewarding and enjoyable that I have continued and plan to carry on. My son is married and still lives locally with his young son who I also care for before and after school now that he has started st marks school. My daughter lives in London and works for the NHS as a mental health nurse.
My Experience
Over the twenty three years I have completed the relevant training that Ofsted have required ie first aid, food hygiene ,safeguarding, gdpr, My last Ofsted inspection was in June 2018 where I was awarded an outstanding grade. I have plans to continue with training trying to fit it around the daily requirements of this career. I have looked after children as young as 6 months and to date am still caring for children as old as 9 years. Many families have stayed with me and I have looked after the siblings when they have arrived. References from current and past parents are available upon request.
We are out daily attending local mother and toddler groups and .indoor soft play areas. During the school holidays other activities are planned usually of the outdoor variety. The children in my care have access to painting, cooking, outdoor play equipment and a large selection of age related toys etc. I offer a stimulating day for all the children in my care obviously geared to their age and capabilities. .I am happy to discuss your requirements and show new parents around to show them my home and meet the other children who I care for. I can promise all new children will be welcomed in by myself and most importantly the other mindees.

£6.00 per hour paid in advance directly into bank account. Funding and government childcare vouchers accepted.
