Olaide looked after our daughter, Cora, for 4 days a week from when she was a little over 1 year old until she was nearly 2. From our very first visit to meet Olaide she stood out vs other childminders as genuinely caring for both Cora and us. As with most first time parents, we were apprehensive about having someone else looking after our baby, but Olaide did a fantastic job of managing all of us during a tailored settling in period. It took only a few weeks for Cora to begin loving being dropped off! Olaide was a huge support in helping Cora develop crucial interactive skills, problem solving skills and building all manor of motor skills. The set up in Olaide home is perfect for the small number of little ones she cares for, especially the fantastic garden, and Olaide has a great local network for helping the children meet others at the playgroups and playgrounds.
We couldn't have asked for a better carer for our daughter, and Cora's time with Olaide was a perfect transition environment before the more intense nursery experience. If we hadn't moved house we would have wanted Cora to stay with Olaide much longer, and we really miss having her in our lives!
