About Me
I am a NNEB qualified nanny with over 25 years child care experience. I have a strong CV and very good references which I will happily forward for interested parents; all my references are also happy to be contacted. I have a wealth of experience looking after children and babies from new-born to teenagers.
I currently work in the local junior sch ool 3 days a week and am nannying 2 day a week with 2 1/2 year old twins and their older sister who is 5 1/2 years old. I will be staying with my nanny family but will be leaving school in July. I'm looking for another position to run along side my current nanny family. This could be a one day position, term time only or half days. I'm open to various options.
I am a mum to 2 daughters aged 19 and 14.
I have a full clean driving licence and a modern, well maintained SUV that I use for work with business insurance. I have a current first aid certificate.
I can be flexible with hours and days except Wed and Friday (these are the days I'm currently nannying), full or part time hours are welcome. Happy to consider a term time only position or before and after school position.
I live in Reigate and ideally would like a position not to far away but for the right fit I would be we willing to travel.

My Experience
Having studied for my NNEB at East Surrey College I started my journey in childcare working in private nurseries but really wanted to offer care at a more personal level. After gaining a base of experience looking after children from 3 months to 5 years in the nursery setting I was offered a private nanny role by the parents of one of the children at the nursery and jumped at the chance.
Since starting nannying I have had a number of different nanny roles such as sole charge, nanny share and nanny/housekeeper. Over the years I have become part of the family for many of my employers and am still in touch with the majority of the parents and children. As is the nature of nanny jobs all of my previous positions have come to end when children start full time school or families move away.
As an experienced nanny and parent I have good knowledge of local clubs and fun activities for children of all ages. I also have a circle of close friends and other nannies with lovely children to socialise with.
For the past two years I have been working 3 days a week in Reigate Priory School as a Special Needs Assistant in year 3 while nannying on the other 2 days. I have very much enjoyed this split role but feel it's time for a change so I am looking for a new role to start around August or September.

Jo is an amazing Nanny who was a 4 day per week Nanny for our son between the ages of 1-3 years old. Jo is full of warmth for kids, she's also flexible, calm and precise and extremely well organised. As was needed she planned days out, creative play or just quiet time at home. She adapts to what children need, puts safety at the highest priority and her handover communication was always very thorough and helpful. We moved away overseas so we had to temporarily say farewell to Jo but she remains a valued family friend and trusted advisor of all things childcare !! Happy to speak to anyone who needs more info on this lovely nanny.
