Hello, my name is Sue!
I have been a Childminder since 2003 and live in Normanby within walking distance of several local schools.
I have always loved nurturing and watching children develop into confident individuals! I thoroughly enjoy taking children into my care and helping them through play and encouragement to learn and grow.
For the children
I have a large enclosed rear garden which comprises of a large lawned area, with flowered borders, windmills and a large outdoor chalkboard.I have multiple outdoor toys which are suitable for all ages. I also have a small picnic area with a bench and water feature.
Indoor activities include a range of toys, dress ups, musical instruments and books, all of which are age appropriate to each individual child.
We often visit a number of toddler groups, parks, soft play areas and museums.
My Experience
I have been qualified since May 2003.
I have experience with children from as young as 12 weeks right through to 12 years.
In my latest Ofsted inspection I was graded good in all areas (September 2018)
My Qualifications
Qualifications
Ofsted Certificate of registration.
NVQ 3 Children's care, learning and development.
Level 3 Diploma in Home based childcare.
Introduction to Childminding practice.
Developing Childminding practice.
Food Hygiene certificate.
First aid for babies and children.
I also have liability insurance.
I often attend regular training courses to update my knowledge of childcare
My Availability
Monday to Friday: 8am-5pm
other hours maybe available upon request.
I am closed all bank holidays.
At the moment I have both full and part time spaces available on Tuesday to Friday.
I deliver the free 15 hours funding for 2 year olds. and the 30 hours funding for 3&4 year olds

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
I charged £4.50per hour.
The hourly charge includes meals, snacks and any outings.
I operate a full fee charge for holidays taken by parents, this is to keep your child's space open.
If I am on holiday/sick no payment is required.
