About Me
My name is Emma, and I live in the heart of Islington with my two teenage children.
I am an experienced nanny with over 13 years in childcare, having worked long-term with four local families. As the children I’ve cared for have grown older, I am now looking for my next family to support and become a valued part of. I also offer evening and weekend babysitting.
I’m a naturally active and outdoors-focused person—I love spending time in parks, visiting local farms, going on walks, and exploring new places with children. I bring a calm, caring, and reliable approach to my work, along with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s development and wellbeing.
I enjoy cooking and preparing healthy, balanced meals from scratch, and am confident doing so quickly and efficiently (with the occasional treat included too!).
I am a non-smoker, a keen dog lover, first aid trained, DBS checked, and hold a full, clean driving licence.
I will be available for a full-time position from September, as my current role with a wonderful family of the past two years is coming to an end. I may have some flexibility for a later start date if needed.
My Experience
I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns through to teenagers, both professionally and as a parent myself.
Alongside raising my own children, I have worked with a number of families in sole charge, shared care, and nanny share roles. This has given me a strong understanding of different family dynamics and the ability to adapt to each household’s needs and routines.
I also have a wide range of babysitting experience, supporting local families, school parents, and friends. I am happy to provide excellent references on request.

- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

Emma looked after my 3-year-old son for two weeks while our regular nanny was away.
Emma is absolutely fantastic. She planned really fun days, took care of everything, and my son really loved spending time with her. Emma was punctual, totally dependable, and very caring toward my son. They formed a strong bond right from the beginning. Thank you Emma!
