About Me

My name is Madison Patterson and I am a 30 year old Primary school teacher in Colchester, Essex.

I am currently available on a part-time basis on some evenings after 4pm. Please ask for availability.

I have taught in Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 5. I have have taught in and SEMH Enhanced Provision, supporting a variety of ages.

I have always loved working with children and wanted to be a primary school teacher for as long as I can remember. I have a variety of experiences with working with different children ranging from work experience in the mainstream and special educational needs classroom to being an occasional babysitter. I have also worked as an activity instructor and early years practitioner at a childrens day holiday camp during the holidays. I was also previously volunteer leader for a Brownies group and so I obtain appropriate DBS certificates.

My Experience

I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher.

I previously provided after school care for two different families during my time at University. I also worked as a nanny during Summer. My roles have included drop off/pick up from school, providing meals and playing games or supporting with home work. I can provide tutoring as an extra, to be negotiated.

My Qualifications

Completed M.Ed Primary Education with QTS degree.
Completed Full MA.Ed in Primary Education.
TEFL Certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
