About Me
Hello, my name is Vicki and I am a registered childminder based in Reigate.
I live with my husband and our two children, I provide a warm, caring, and family-focused environment where children can feel safe, happy, and valued.
Our home has a dedicated playroom and an enclosed garden, both filled with a wide variety of toys, games, and learning resources suitable for all ages and stages of development. I regularly update activities and resources to keep children engaged, stimulated, and having fun.
I am passionate about providing high-quality childcare and creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. I have completed the Childminding Introduction Programme (ChIP) and hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification. I also regularly attend training courses to continue developing my knowledge and skills.
I follow the EYFS framework to support each child’s individual learning and development through play, exploration, and everyday experiences. Children in my care benefit from lots of one-to-one attention whilst also enjoying social interaction with children of different ages.
We enjoy getting out and about as much as possible and regularly attend toddler groups, soft play sessions, rhyme time at the library, parks, and local places of interest. We also love visiting National Trust sites and spending time outdoors whenever the weather allows.
For children under five, I provide a daily diary to keep parents updated on their child’s day, including meals, naps, nappy changes, activities, and achievements. Each child will also have their own Learning Journey folder, documenting their development and special moments through observations and photographs.

My Experience
I have been an Ofsted-registered childminder for 13 years and, during this time, have gained a wealth of experience caring for children of different ages and stages of development.
I am passionate about providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where children can feel happy, secure, and confident to learn through play and everyday experiences. I believe every child should feel valued and supported as they grow and develop at their own pace.
Building strong relationships with both children and parents is very important to me, and I always aim to work closely with families to ensure each child receives the very best care and support.
I also receive ongoing support and up-to-date childcare guidance from Surrey County Council, helping me to continually develop my knowledge and stay informed on current childcare practices and requirements.
My Qualifications
I have completed my ChIPS which covered The Early Years Foundation Stage, which outlines setting the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five years of age, the course also includes Safeguarding Children
I have also completed a Paediatric First Aid Course with TigerLilly.

My childminding hours are: 7.30 am until 6pm Monday to Thursday. If you require childcare outside of these house, please enquire.
