Part-Time Responsible Adult Needed for Morning School Run And After School Support.

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly person to help Monday to Friday with school runs, lifts to activities and being at home with our older children until we return from work.

This isn’t a traditional nanny role. Our children are independent and don’t need entertaining, they are usually busy with homework, friends or relaxing. What we’re looking for is someone who is dependable, enjoys being around older children and provides a reassuring adult presence at home.

The role would mainly involve:

* Helping before and after school.
* School runs and lifts to clubs and activities.
* Preparing simple evening meals.
* Helping keep the children’s routines on track.
* Light household jobs related to the children, such as laundry, tidying up after meals and keeping things organised.

The hours are usually:
Monday to Friday
7.30–8.30am
4.00–6.00pm

There is some flexibility, and there will be opportunities for additional hours during school holidays if that suits you.

We’re looking for someone who is warm, dependable and proactive, with previous childcare or nanny experience, a full UK driving licence and their own car. An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and good references are essential.

We are hoping to find someone who is looking for a long term role where they will feel like part of the family. We are a relaxed, welcoming household and would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys supporting family life and building a great relationship with our children.
