About Me
I live in Tottington, Bury. We have 2 very friendly pet dogs.
I have enjoyed bringing up my own 3 children so much that I have decided to care for others too. I thoroughly enjoy caring for children and I believe all children can grow and flourish within a positive and safe environment.
We have a good sized enclosed back lawn area with a slide and water table along with various other ride - ons and bikes, bats, balls and more.
Indoors, downstairs there is a large lounge, an open plan dining kitchen and toilet with more ride on toys, books and puzzles. I provide arts and crafts and dressing up clothes, as well as toys for all age groups of children.
During the day I will be attending Messy play sessions, Playgroups, Playcentres, Childminder drop ins, Library story times and visiting various parks, along with baking and various other arts and crafts.
I am fully registered with OFSTED and insured with Childcare.
As a mother to my 3 sons, Aunty to my nieces and nephews and Godmother to 4 others, I have good hands on experience of bringing up children.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for over 14 years. I have 3 children of my own along with nieces, nephews and godchildren.
My Qualifications
I have attended a childminding pre - registration briefing session and completed a paediatric first aid course (up to date). I have also completed the safeguarding children training course and Introduction to childminding practice course (ICP), all required prior to registering as a childminder.
The ICP training is an 8 week course which includes training on keeping children safe, establishing routines, using positive methods to manage children’s behaviour, treating children with equal concern and child protection.
I am completed my level 3 NVQ childcare qualification with more training planned. My husband, my children and I all hold enhanced disclosures.
My Availability
My services are available between 8am – 17:00, Monday to Thursday. Other times / days can be considered and agreed if required.
