About Me
I am a fun, loving person who likes working with children. I enjoy doing anything creative and messy and arranging activities for the children including play dates with other nannies, toddler and music groups. I also enjoy swimming and have great fun taking the children in my care swimming.
I enjoy the opportunity to use my initiative, have good organisational abilities and rise to a challenge. I have excellent interpersonal skills with a polite and friendly personality. I am versatile, flexible and keen to develop new skills.
My Experience
I have worked in Day Nurseries for 6 and half years and I have been a nanny for 10 years. I have worked with children aged from 3 months to 12 years.
I have spent time working with ages 3 months to 5 years whilst working in nurseries and I was also a Toddler Room Leader for children aged 18 - 30 months approximately.
Since becoming a nanny i have worked with children aged from 3 months to 12 years.
I also have experience of having my own children since becoming a mum to boy/girl twins in June 2015.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE Diploma and Certificate in Child Care and Education plus an ICS Diploma in Child Day Care, Child Psychology and Signing Fun for Babies and Toddlers. I have completed a Level 3 course in Safeguarding children, as well as Level 2 courses in Infection Control, Healthy Eating, and Equality and Diversity.
I have completed Levels 1 and 2 in British Sign Language which I really enjoyed.
My Availability
I am currently looking for a 2/3day a week position (available tues/wed/thurs only due to family commitments) OR a before and/or after school position (Tuesday/wed/thurs) where I could bring my twins with me. They are 2.5 years old.
