About Me

Hello…… My name is Heidi and I have been a registered childminder since 2007. I live with my husband, 3 children (aged 15 ,11 and 1) our family pet Labrador. I am a mum to 6 but 3 of my older children have flown the nest. I also have a beautiful granddaughter.

I work alongside 2 assistants providing a safe and fun environment for children to develop and learn through play. I provide a nurturing home from home setting. We go on lots of outdoor adventures. I hold memberships to Slimbridge, Avon Valley and have a National Trust pass. We attend music and toddler groups regularly. I am also a member of the play hub. As staff we all hold fully enhanced police checks, paediatric first aid certificates and have attended multi agency child protection training. We have also completed training in Child development and SEN, this enables us to effectively plan suitable activities to enhance children’s development.

We can provide flexible working hours at competitive rates. All meals and trips are included and we accept child care vouchers, NEG funding (15 and 30 free hour placements) and Tax free child care. We are also able to provide a free pick up and drop home service within a 5 mile radius if needed.
We charge a day rate of £45 (this is between the hours of 7am and 5pm) we are open from 6am until 6pm - extra time outside of the day rate is charged at an hourly rate.

ps. My daughter who is a registered assistant also offers a baby sitting service. Hours are flexible and to suit and at competitive prices. She is 22, holds paediatric first aid and has a current DBS certificate. She also has her own transport, is reliable and has lots of experience.
