Dear families
I am a qualified Nanny with over 25yrs childcare experience.
I have an NVQ level 2 & 3 City and Guilds in childcare.
I started my journey from a young age of 16 training in a nursery where I was given an amazing opportunity to become their supervisor, from there I continued a supervisors role in a 2nd day nursery exploring other ages.
I was then very lucky to join a fabulous team working in a school with age 3-5, with this I was given the responsibility of running a stay and play in their children centre, this involved working very closely to parents and our local healthcare team.
I became a mum in 2010 and took a break from the education side of childcare and became a nanny which I have been for 13 years.
I find this extremely rewarding, not only do I have the 1-1 with a child but get to build a fantastic relationship with the parent which I think is very important.
I have been so very lucky to work with some wonderful families.
My previous family was high profile which gave me an insight on juggling 4 children, blended family and a very busy lifestyle, with this I experienced proxy parenting and have gone onto continuing this role with my current family.
A little about myself, I would say I'm a very out going,fun loving nanny and with being a parent myself I have natural maternal instincts on top of my experiences and knowledge. I'm extremely punctual, I would rather be early for everything, hopefully that's a good thing!!!

Grace has done ad hoc nannying for our family and we think she is great. She is positive, warm, friendly, professional and gets stuck straight in with the children, building a very positive bond. Excellent communication and can-do attitude. She also provided support around the house.

My daughter (6) and son (3) love Grace - and so do I! She is a warm, friendly and caring person and the children feel totally at ease with her. I start work early and she is always punctual so I never worry that I’ll be late for my job. She has sole charge including school runs, cooking and overseeing homework and also manages to fill each day with exciting activities like woodland adventures, cupcake baking and arts and crafts. Any family would be lucky to have Grace helping them.

Grace worked for our family for over 2 years looking after our son and daughter (4 & 2 years when she joined our family). Our children loved her and we would highly recommend her as a nanny. Grace is extremely professional and very good at her job. She is trustworthy and always goes above and beyond in what she does. I would highly recommend her for any future role. You will not be disappointed!

Grace has worked for me for 18 months, looking after my two children now aged 5 & 3. She is a wonderful nanny, always turns up with a huge smile on her face and who has a natural chemistry with children. She is authoritative when needed but kind and compassionate with the children. She is always thinking of new and exciting things for them to do, whether that be taking them to new places or doing creative things at home. Being a mum, she is also naturally playful with the children and they love her daughter, who slots in effortlessly into their lives.
Grace is never late, hugely reliable and is also willing to be flexible where she can. She is a great asset to any family and I can't recommend her highly enough!
