About Me

We're a single mum family with a boy 8 (not in school) & girl 12 years old (Steiner school Fulbourn). They enjoy playing in the garden, drawing and craft, iPad time, and boardgames.

The kids are neurodivergent (AuDHD/PDA) and need someone compassionate and patient.

We have an evening babysitter 2x/week but need more support during the day as well.

We’re looking for a SEN experienced, kind nanny / babysitter who has worked with Autism/AdHD and who can help during the morning and/or afternoon.

I’m flexible regarding arrangements as I work from home.

Example:
Arrive 8.30, watch the younger one, help him settle in with his home tutor, light house work, lunch, pick up my older from school (often earlier than 3pm due to flexi plan) and returning her home.

Looking for 3-4 days per week, perhaps ca 4-5h/day. Not Tuesday as kids are with their dad.

15£/h as a starting point depending on experience.

Support needed from June 12 onwards.

Hoping for a long-term relationship as the kids struggle with changes and transitions; summer holiday help also welcome.

highly recommend for SEN

El has been the best babysitter we’ve ever had. They are so I tune with my SEN kids (8 and 12), attentive, calm, caring for the kids without being overbearing - just what we needed. While I’ve had to explain my kids’ behaviour and preferences to many others, El just gets it. Very pleasant to have in the house. Always on time, no ad hoc cancellations, extremely reliable. Highly recommend!
