A very special nanny

We are delighted to provide this reference for our nanny, who has been with our family for the past year and will be leaving us at the end of July due to a change in our family's circumstances.

During her time with us, she has cared for our youngest child with warmth, attentiveness, and genuine affection, while also reliably taking our two older children to and from school each day. She is consistently punctual, highly dependable, and brings a calm, positive presence to our home.

She is kind, caring, and thoughtful in all aspects of her work, and has become a much-valued part of our family. She also prepares delicious meals, which the children always look forward to.

We are truly sad to be losing her, and we cannot recommend her highly enough to any future family.

A true blessing

M worked for us for over forty years over 2 years from 2023 to 2025 looking after my 4 and 6 year old. She was truly part of our family. She thought independently on how to entertain and nuture the children. Treated us, our house like it were her own and made the most incredible food for all. My children have been instilled with respect and manners and this is down to M. Any family that she graces are very lucky. Very happy to provide further references.

Brilliant super-nanny!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Madleine. What was originally meant to be a short-term arrangement, just one day a week for a few months, quickly turned into something much more long-term, simply because Madleine is exceptional at what she does. Nearly a year later, she is still with us, two days a week, and we couldn’t imagine our routine without her.

From the very beginning, she built such a natural and warm bond with our son (now 18 months). He absolutely adores her, and it’s clear to see why - she brings so much energy, care, and joy into everything she does with him. She fills his days with enriching activities, from trips to the park and soft play to singing sessions and playgroups, always making sure he gets plenty of outdoor time, which is very important to us.

Madleine is also a fantastic cook and regularly prepares delicious homemade Italian meals from scratch that the whole family enjoys - our son especially! Beyond that, she is deeply invested in his development. She ensures he has a good routine and spends time reading and singing with him daily, helping him build his vocabulary and ensuring he is reaching key developmental milestones, all in a way that feels natural and fun. He is constantly laughing and thriving in her care.

Having her in our home is an absolute pleasure. She is reliable, organised, tidy and brings such a positive presence into our lives. As a first-time mum, I have personally learned so much from her and she has shared invaluable parenting knowledge and support, which I truly appreciate.

We cannot recommend Madleine highly enough. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her.

Best all-round nanny

Maddalena is currently our nanny. She is looking after 4 children between age 3 to 5.
Maddalena has settled in quickly, the kids have immediately warmed to her and I can only highly recommend her to any family. I have never come across a nanny with such a great sense for her duty of care and can only highly commend her cooking skills and understanding of wholesome nutrition for children. Not a single meal stays untouched! We will be sad to part with Maddalena when we move abroad later this year and wish we could take her with us.
