My Experience

I have worked within childcare for 15 years, in various childcare settings including; nurseries, children centres and as nanny. I am currently working as a community nursery nurse within the health visiting team. This role is extremely varied working with newborn babies up to age 11 years. This role has allowed me to expand on my knowledge and experience of working with children and families. I am trained in healthy growth, feeding, including breast and bottle feeding and child development. Within my role I also support families with eating, sleeping and behaviour concerns. I am trained to identify and support with children who may have neurological developmental delays. I have cared for all ages of children from newborns up to 14 years. I have also cared for children who have special educational needs and with complex health needs.

My Qualifications

I have:

A level three Diploma in Childcare and Education.

BA Hons Degree in Childcare and Education (integrated working with families and children)

Paediatric first aid certificate

Food Hygiene Certificate

Safeguarding children certificate.

My Availability

I am in a unique situation as I am looking for part time work to fit in with my own childcare needs. I am available for evening and occasional weekend babysitting as well as occasional over night stays. I am available for temporary work or permanent work for 2-4 days per week. I would ideally like to work between the hours of 9:30 and 3. However there is an element of flexibility with this as I understand it is rare that families need these hours. I could work one longer day per week also. I am happy to work term time only if this was a requirement. My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)

pay is negoitable within reason.
