About Me

OFSTED Registered Childminder in Jennett’s Park

Hello, my name is Hazel and I am an OFSTED registered childminder based in Jennett’s Park.
I provide a safe, caring and stimulating home-from-home environment where children can learn, grow and have fun. I have a wide range of books, toys, games, and arts and crafts activities to suit different ages and interests.

My secure rear garden offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play, including bouncy toys, small tents, sand and water tables, and space to explore and develop physical skills.

I believe children learn best through play and positive experiences. We enjoy a variety of activities such as:

Indoor and outdoor games
Reading and story time
Creative arts and crafts
Trips to the local park
Exploring and enjoying the outdoors

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to plan engaging activities that support children’s social, emotional and academic development. My aim is to help every child reach their full potential while having fun in a safe, nurturing environment.

My Experience

I have previously worked as a Playscheme Co-ordinator, Youth Worker and I have been a Wildlife Watch leader and a Park Ranger too. So I have lots of experience of working with children of all ages in different settings.

My Qualifications

I'm an Ofsted Registered level 2 Childminder, I have a current Pediatric First Aid and Safeguarding

My Availability

Availability; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from April 2026.

If you wish me to claim funding on your behalf please be aware that the Funding Portal will open 27th February and close 5th March, all paperwork would need to be completed by then.
