About Me
Hello, my name is Nicola and I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I am 39 and I live on Great Notley with my partner Steve who is 40 and our two amazing sons, Theo who is 15 and Rafferty who is 3. We also have one cat called Stan, who is very friendly. And we have a goldendoddle dog called Cody, who is fantastic with all of the children.
What I offer is a safe, friendly, fun and educational environment for all children in my care. My setting is very much home from home.
The children at my setting use the house as it is theirs, roaming freely between rooms. We do many different activities here from baking, arts and crafts, sing and sign and so much more. We also have a secure good size garden where the children play all year round.
I am very lucky with the location I live with 3 parks, a duck pond, playing fields, woods and the discovery center all within walking distance.
Days out which are planned included going to our local hands on farm, going to the zoo, play groups and more.
Watching and helping a child develop is the most rewarding job and I will help and support each child in my care with their development.
My Experience
Being a mum myself has given me the best experience, and also being an aunt to 5 amazing nieces and nephews.
I have 9 years experience in childcare.
My Qualifications
My qualifications are as follows:
Ofsted registered
CYPOP 5 course (units of childcare diploma)
Food safety & Hygiene (level 2)
Paediatric first aid course Certificate
Safeguarding children certificate
Fully enhanced CRB
PACEY member
Full UK driving license
My Availability
My working days are Monday - Thursday, working hours are 07:30 - 18:30. Of course on occasions I will be happy to be flexible where and if needed.
I do school drop off and pick ups from White Court Primary School.
Home made dinner is available where needed.
I care for children from 0 - 12 years of age.
I also run a holiday club each school holiday.
