My Experience

My experience working in childcare started after completing my diploma in Childcare and Education, where I worked in a nursery setting for 4 years, working my way up from support staff to Room Manager of the toddler room.

Since 2017, I have worked in schools since in roles ranging from lunchtime supervisor in a private school to 1:1 teaching assistant, supporting children with speech and language difficulties and special educational needs.

Alongside my school experience, I worked with a family in Wimbledon for 9 years, supporting two children (girl and boy) through their entire primary school education. When both children started secondary school, my services were no longer required. The family then recommended me to another family with two young girls, who I was with for nearly two years. I will be starting with a new family in September this year, which is a role I was lucky enough to find on Childcare.co.uk.

Coming from a large family and being the oldest of 6 siblings, I have always felt confident and comfortable being responsible for children and ensuring they are safe and happy in my care. Whether that's within a nursery setting, a school or looking after them in their home environment. Working in various childcare settings has allowed me to gain experience with children of different age ranges (6 months to 13 years).

My Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, Learning and Education

My Availability

I am available Monday - Friday, before school and for occasional babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.50 per hour (gross)

This would depend on number/age of children, with nannying starting at £18.50 an hour. My babysitting rates for one off care starts at £15 an hour. I prefer to work on an hourly rate but this is negotiable.
