My Summary

My Experience

I have had a lot of experience, my first touch of experience was work experience which I did when I was in secondary school and I went to a primary school for a week and worked in the reception class.
Due to my college course I am put in placement settings,
I have had 3 so far, my first one was in a nursery and I worked with 0-2 year olds, I was there for 6 months and this was my first real experience working within a childcare setting, I gained a lot of skills in this placement and learnt a lot.
My second placement was at a primary school and I was in year 2 (6-7 year olds) I was also there for 6 months and I gained a lot of skills working with older children and learning how schools work and how much effort they put into the work they do.
My third placement which I am currently at is another nursery and I am working with 0-2 and a 1/2 year olds, I should be here for 6 months also, this is a new experience as all nurseries are different in how they do things.
I also have experience within the family as there are many members of my family who are still very young, so I love looking after and babysitting them whenever possible.

I have my own son now, so would be babysitting with him in tow.
