My Experience
I have been working professionallly with children for 14 years.
After leaving college I worked as a nursery practitioner, in a private day care nursery in St. Albans, I gained experience working with children from 3 months to five years, mainly caring for children between the ages of 18months and 3.
I left the nursery in april 2011 and become a nanny. Within this time I have cared for children between the ages of 11 months and 10. I enjoy watching the children I care for grow, and helping them learn and develop new skills. I like to be out and about and plan active days. We enjoy regular trips to parks, playgroups, soft play, and the farm. Some of my other duties include washing the children's clothes, preparing meals, the school/nursery run, and helping with homework.
Whilst studying at college I had three work placements gaining experience working in a school with a year one class, working in a nursery and working along side a mum in the family home.

Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education
Paediatric first aid training
