About Me
I am a prep school teacher with 23 years of teaching experience.
I have tutored since 2000 and cover English, French and Maths. I specialise in KS1 and Lower KS2, years 2, 3 and 4 to ensure secure learning foundations before they start working towards their senior school entrance exams.
English and French are my subject specialisms and I also tutor verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
I tutor in my home and up to 20 minutes away. I also tutor on Zoom.
My Experience
Extensive teaching experience from nursery to Y8.
I have taught at Cothill, Streatham Hill and Clapham High, Feltonfleet and Rowan girls’ prep school in Claygate.
I have also taught abroad, in St. Andrews International School, Turi, Kenya. Here I was a houseparent for boys aged 13-16 and also taught English from school years 4-9.
Throughout my teaching career I have especially enjoyed teaching pupils who don’t find learning easy. I get results from believing in them, helping them to believe in themselves and working with what they can do and not what they can't do.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £50.00 per hour
£50 per hour plus £10 to cover travel to and from your home. I will travel up to 20 mins from my home.
