About Me
My name is Sara and I live with my husband and our three daughters (aged 12, 16 and 20 years) in a lovely village on the outskirts of Newport. I work with my husband who is my full time assistant and we both have all the relevant checks and qualifications.
We are a family friendly home with lots of toys and games to enjoy. We also have an enclosed rear garden with a variety of outdoor toys. We have recently upgraded our garden facilities and now have some artificial grass and a lovely undercover play area for the children to enjoy all year round.
We have friendly pets (dogs and cats) and close family living nearby. I also regularly meet with other local childminders and their children.
I am able to offer school and nursery runs to and from Pentrepoeth primary school and pre-school, and wrap around care for Rhiwderin Meithrin (little oaks) and Bassaleg preschool (little oaks).
My core hours of opening are 7:30am til 5:30pm
I enjoy taking the children to a variety of places including soft play, toddler groups, parks, the beach, local places of interest and singing groups.
My Experience
Both myself and husband have paediatric first aid certificates and we both hold a current enhanced CRB certificate
I am a Member of PACEY and hold full liability insurance. I am registered with the local council.
I have completed all childminding qualifications and am more than happy to provide references if needed

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Healthy snacks and drinks are included in my hourly rate along with entrance fees to toddler groups etc
I can offer a packed lunch for children (age appropriate) for a small additional charge.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Pentrepoeth C.P. School

Sara has been looking after my two daughters for over 5 years now. Our girls have been very happy and always look forward to spending time at her home and with all of the other children. Sara provides lots of different toys and activities for them to do which they thoroughly enjoy. They regularly play outside, go for walks and play at local parks and soft play centres. Sara is extremely reliable and very accommodating. We cant recommend her enough!
Overall
Sara has been looking after my 2 year old for nearly 12 months now. I couldn't ask for more than I get from her. She is reliable, kind hearted, and punctual takes the kids out all the time, adheres to every child's individual needs. My daughter loves going there and has come on so much. She's become so much more sociable, and her communication skills are amazing for her age. I would 100% recommend Sara. I am lucky that she takes my daughter some mornings at 6.20am. Excellent for any nurses needing childcare like I do.
